The origins of Pencoed House Estate date back to the early fifteenth century, when it was built by Jevan ap David, a Welsh notable. The estate has had a storied past, with a Member of Parliament, Sheriffs of the County, Ministers of the Church, and affluent farmers all having called it home. Legend even suggests that King Arthur and Queen Guinevere once resided here. Whatever the truth may be, our estate is undeniably steeped in history and folklore.
