Salon Orchestra
The Salon Orchestra is the ideal ensemble for any formal dinner function, large or small. With a flexible size ranging from 4 to 11 musicians, we can tailor our performance to suit your event. With a repertoire spanning over two centuries, our orchestra can add a touch of sophistication and elegance to any occasion.
Fanfare Trumpeters
Add a touch of drama and excitement to your event with our Fanfare Trumpeters. From a single trumpet player to a team of 11, we can create a stunning fanfare to highlight the key points of your function or corporate event. Our musicians are dressed in distinctive red tailcoats and play long silver military-style fanfare trumpets, adding a touch of class to any occasion.
String Quartet
Perfect for weddings, corporate events, and all special occasions, our String Quartet is a versatile ensemble that can play a wide range of music, from classical to modern pop and rock. Our musicians are experienced in playing for audiences of all ages and are always ready to entertain.
Palm Court Trio
This lovely ensemble of Piano, Violin, and Cello doubling Trumpet is a cross between a string quartet, cocktail pianist, and a 'dinner jazz' band. With Steve's unique ability to play both Cello and Trumpet, our Palm Court Trio adds an extra dimension to their stunning versatility.
Brass Quintet
Our Brass Quintet is a highly adaptable ensemble that offers an exciting range of music, from baroque to jazz and pop. Perfect for large or outdoor venues, our Brass Quintet is particularly effective in church services, either with or instead of the church organ.
Wedding Trumpeters
Our Trumpet players are skilled in playing music for the processional, recessional, signing of the register, providing a boost to the hymns, or even a Trumpet Fanfare for the bride's arrival. Accompanied by the regular organist at your church, or an LBE organist or pianist, a solo wedding trumpeter will add spectacular impact to your wedding ceremony.
Bugler
Steve Fletcher, our experienced Bugler, served 14 years as a military musician with the Royal Artillery band, playing the Last Post and Reveille at countless remembrance services, memorial services, and funerals. Since leaving the Army, Steve has continued to provide this service with dignity and respect.
Our Experience
From large-scale dinner functions in top London venues to over 500 weddings, our experience is diverse and extensive. Our clients include many London Livery Companies, Surrey and Buckinghamshire Masons, Trade Associations, Corporations, and more.
Coverage Area
The London Banqueting Ensemble generally works in London and the surrounding area, including Essex, Kent, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex, and Hertfordshire. We are happy to travel further afield subject to expenses.
