I'm Mark Armitage, a creative and passionate wedding photographer, based in Saddleworth, Greater Manchester, with a love for the great outdoors and a talent for storytelling through photography.
My Journey
My journey in photography began back in 1994, when I studied a Foundation in Art & Design at the Rotherham college of Arts. My passion for photography was ignited, and I went on to study Photography in more depth at the Sheffield College. I eventually graduated in 1999 and pursued various photography roles, including working as a photographer's assistant, image retoucher, public relations photographer, and eventually, a freelance wedding photographer.

I specialise in creative and natural wedding photography, with a focus on storytelling and capturing the essence of your special day. I strive to get to know you both intimately, understanding your love story and what makes your relationship truly special. This allows me to capture the most authentic, emotive, and memorable photographs for you to treasure for years to come.

At Mark Armitage Wedding Photography, we offer bespoke wedding photography packages tailored to your unique needs. Our packages include:
- USB Package: Includes my time from 1 hour before the ceremony through to the wedding breakfast, capturing all the key moments and including a USB drive with all photographs from the day.
- LUXURY COFFEE TABLE BOOK: A stunning, high-quality coffee table wedding album, complete with real leather or fine linen covers, and blind embossing of names, dates, and other special details.
- 'GETTING READY' PACKAGE: Additional time to capture the Bride's preparations before the ceremony, capturing the excitement and anticipation of the big day.
- WEDDING BREAKFAST UP TO FIRST DANCE: Additional hours to capture the speeches, cutting of the cake, and celebrations up to and including the first dance.
Booking and Pricing
To book a wedding package with us, a 20% deposit is required, followed by a 40% payment one month prior to the wedding, and the final 40% payment after the wedding. For portrait bookings, the full balance is due before the agreed date. You can contact us through email or phone to answer any questions, queries, or make a booking.
