Julie's journey in the world of wedding dress design began when she received her first sewing machine for her eleventh birthday. From that moment, she knew that fashion design was her true calling. After honing her skills and gaining valuable experience in retail and customer service, Julie opened her first wedding shop in 1988. Village Bride was established in its current beautiful location in Marple Bridge some 14 years ago, where Julie and her team have been creating stunning, bespoke wedding dresses for brides from Stockport and beyond.
