With over 350 weddings captured over the years, we've had the privilege of working with couples from all over the world, from New York to Amsterdam.

About Matt

I'm Matt, a documentary wedding photographer based in Bristol, UK. I've been fortunate enough to travel extensively, capturing weddings in Spain, France, Holland, and the US. My passion is telling the story of your wedding day, freezing moments that you'll treasure for a lifetime. I believe that every wedding is unique, and my approach is to capture the human connection, beauty, and emotions that unfold on your special day.

My Approach

As a photographer, I'm drawn to stories and aim to tell one every time I pick up my camera. My approach is to capture natural moments, quiet intimacy, and emotional connections. I want to freeze people in time, so you and your loved ones can look back and feel something. Whether it's laughter, tears, or joy, I want my captures to evoke emotions and create lasting memories.

Portraits

My approach to portraits is relaxed and natural. I don't believe in cheesy posing or elaborate positions. I want you to be yourself, to enjoy the moment, and to allow your true self to shine through. Light plays a crucial role in my photography, and I'm always on the lookout for that perfect shot, whether it's the golden hour or a fleeting moment of magic.

Questions and Answers

Have any questions? Below are some FAQs that might give you a deeper understanding of what I can offer:

• Do you shoot destination weddings? Yes, we do! We have a valid passport and love traveling to new places. Travel and accommodation costs will be factored into your quote.
• How long will you be at the wedding? If you've booked me for the whole day, I'll be with you from Bridal Prep (2 hours before the ceremony) until your first dance.
• What is your 'style'? It's a tricky question to answer, but if I had to pin my style down, it would be photojournalism mixed with quirky portraiture.
• How many images do we get? You can expect to receive between 400-700 images if you've booked me to cover the whole day.
• Do you edit all of the images? Yes, part of my style is how I finish your images, so every single one will be individually edited.
• Can we see a full wedding? Of course, you can! I have all of my weddings saved to private galleries. Just send me a message, and I'll give you access to one.
• Do you do albums? Yes, I do! I offer Folio Albums, which are beautiful handmade albums where the images are printed directly onto fine art paper. Once you have your final collection, I'll ask you to select the images you want included in your album.
• Do we have to pose for pictures? Don't worry, I hear this a lot! I work in a very natural way with an emphasis on fun and having a laugh, with as little posing as possible to get the best out of you.
