Welcome to Nene Valley Weddings, a family-owned car hire company providing classic cars for wedding and special occasion hire, serving the Greater Peterborough area. Our company was founded on the passion of beautiful cars and photography.

Our Name

Our name "Nene Valley Weddings" is an obvious choice due to our location in the Nene Valley region on the outskirts of Peterborough City centre. We are based just a stone's throw from the steam railway that shares our name and the River Nene, making us ideally situated for access to central Peterborough and due to our city's excellent parkway system and proximity to the A1 and A47, allowing us to serve a wide region quickly and efficiently.

Origins

Nene Valley Weddings is the result of combining two of the owner's passions: beautiful cars and photography. Tim, the owner, has always had an "eye" for photography, having been introduced to it by his father's semi-professional projects as well as playing with Polaroid cameras as a youngster. The recent rapid technological improvements (and a love of the outdoors) led him to experiment with high-definition sports camcorders. Using these amazing cameras for a variety of extreme sports, including mountain biking, bungee jumping, abseiling, and snorkelling, he captured thousands of images and hundreds of hours of video.

The opportunity to drive his sister-in-law to her wedding was one he could not refuse and while preparing the car, he came up with a novel approach - to mount a camera inside the car, programmed to take photographs automatically at 20-second intervals, to provide the newly married couple with some unique photographs. The wedding itself went to plan, but the photographs were really stunning; casual and relaxed images of the father of the bride with his daughter on their way to the church as well as beautiful images of the detail on the wedding dress and the happy couple on their way to the reception. An idea was born.

Our cars are polished to a brilliant shine, beautifully decorated with ribbons to match your chosen colour scheme, and chauffeur-driven to ensure you are treated like royalty.

• 1949 Mark VI Bentley "Grace" - A stunning black over Tudor grey Bentley, complete with a fresh internal leather renovation to maintain its original condition.

Classic British Cars for Hire

• 1948 Alvis "Mr B" - A Mulliner-bodied Alvis Fourteen four-door sports saloon in stunning red and black livery, lovingly maintained and ready to serve.

One-of-a-Kind Experiences

We also offer the extraordinary Daimler Double Six, a super car disguised as a chauffeured limousine with its Six Litre V12 engine capable of achieving speeds of over 140mph.
