Established since 1996, we have had the privilege of hosting over 300 exclusive weddings and are one of the original wedding venues in the area. Our venue has been a beloved choice for couples looking for a unique and romantic setting to celebrate their special day.

Our Venue

Preston Priory Barn is a traditional, mediaeval Suffolk timber framed rustic barn situated on a working arable farm dating from 1450. The barn has been untouched and retains its historic charm, offering couples the opportunity to create their own bespoke experience. The venue has been featured on BBC's Lovejoy as Cavendish Auction House, adding to its allure and charm.

Services Offered

At Preston Priory Barn, we offer a variety of services to make your wedding day truly unforgettable. We offer exclusive use of the venue and grounds for your wedding day, ensuring that your event is special and unique. We also provide a limited number of weddings per year to maintain our high standards and ensure that each couple receives the attention and care they deserve.

Our venue is licensed for wedding ceremonies, and we can accommodate up to 160 guests in the barn. We offer the flexibility for couples to have their ceremony with us before moving on to another venue for their reception. We also provide the option for an afternoon tea with vintage crockery or a drinks reception after your ceremony, allowing you to arrange a caterer to serve this for you using our kitchen.

The Courtyard

Our courtyard is a beautiful setting for drinks receptions and BBQs. Fully grassed and with concrete car parking situated next to the barn, it offers both convenience on arrival and the opportunity to view wildlife on our farm in surrounding fields. A large fig tree bearing fruit welcomes you through the historic doors of Priory Barn, adding to the romantic ambiance of the venue.

Exclusive Use and Facilities
