Welcome to Silver Thistle Piping Services, established by myself, Iain Cox, in early 2012. With over 35 years of piping experience, I have had the pleasure of providing my services for numerous occasions, from weddings to corporate events, funerals, and open days. As the pipe major of Troon Blackrock Pipe Band, I have had the honour of leading the band to numerous awards and accolades, including the Scottish and British Championships.

We can provide traditional full Highland dress options, including the No.1 Full Highland Dress, which includes the Feather Bonnet, Plaid, Doublet, Horsehair Sporran, and Spats, or the No.2 Day Wear Dress, which includes the Glengarry, Argyle Jacket, Waistcoat, Dress Sporran, and Kilt in a variety of tartans.
We have an extensive repertoire of traditional pipe tunes, as well as modern contemporary compositions. We can also cater to most musical requests, providing a unique and memorable experience for your special occasion.
