Welcome to Alethea Photography, a Staffordshire, UK-based award-winning portrait and wedding photography studio. Our team, led by the talented photographer Alethea Simpson, has been providing exceptional photographic services for the past 12 years.

Our team's greatest skill is the ability to quickly build a rapport with our clients, putting them at ease and taking the natural images we are so well known for. We have been recognized by the British Institute of Professional Photographers for the Under 5's Photographer of the Year Award in the Midlands region, as well as achieving 1st Merit and Merit Awards for our Environmental Children's Portraiture.

Portrait Photography

At Alethea Photography, we specialize in creating beautiful, timeless images that capture the essence of our clients. Our location shoots are relaxed and fun for all the family, including the family dog. We do not use a studio; instead, we use the environment as our studio. Capturing natural light, texture, and composition, we create beautiful classical images that have a timeless edge.

We offer a variety of portrait packages to cater to your needs. Whether you want to capture a special moment in your life, create a family heirloom, or simply update your family photos, we have the perfect package for you. Our portrait sessions are typically 1-2 hours long, allowing time for outfit changes and maybe a well-deserved treat.

If someone is unwell and we need to reschedule, there is no charge for rescheduling, but if possible, please try to give us as much notice as you can. We will reschedule the shoot as soon as we can. In case of rain, the shoot will be rescheduled or you can choose to have a studio session in the comfort of your home.
