Dating back to the 15th Century, this venue offers a place where you can make your special day truly unforgettable. The property features original honey coloured Cotswold Stone Buildings, an Ancient Orchard, and sumptuous, elegantly styled bedrooms for those who wish to stay. Our Services

Our services include a ceremony and dining space for up to 140 guests, an evening reception area, 16 luxurious bedrooms for your guests, and endless photo opportunities throughout the beautiful gardens and ancient orchard. We also provide two preparation spaces for getting ready on the day. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a larger celebration, we have everything you need to make your day truly special.

History & Heritage

Caswell House and its grounds have a rich history, dating back to the 15th Century. Once part of a deserted medieval settlement, the estate was once home to a community that occupied the south-west corner of the Witney Parish and Curbridge Township. Today, only Caswell House itself and the barns remain, though various remnants of the medieval settlement can still be seen throughout the grounds. The house has been lovingly managed by the Matthews family for decades, ensuring that its history and heritage are preserved for future generations.
