About Me

Born in 1981, I grew up on the Wirral, a peninsula that holds a special place in my heart. My passion for photography and film was ignited by my dad and godfather, who sparked my interest in the eighties. I pursued my passion through college, studying for a City & Guilds in Photography and an Advanced V.C.E. in Media Studies. Further education and a degree in Media, majoring in Photo Journalism from the University of Sheffield, followed by Open University courses in Adobe Photo Shop, solidified my expertise in photography.

My Journey

After completing my studies, I landed a position as an assistant editor and photographer for a motorbike magazine, Motard. Although it was a dream job, my friend and editor, David Blair, sadly passed away. I then pursued more journalistic work, contributing to prominent publications such as the Daily Post, Daily Echo, and MCN (Motor Cycle News). As my portfolio grew, people began to refer friends to me, asking if I would shoot their weddings. With my wife, Karen, as my glamorous assistant, we embraced wedding photography with open arms. The joy and excitement on couples' faces when they see their wedding pictures for the first time is truly priceless.
