Welcome to Donna Murray Photography, a professional photography service specialising in capturing natural moments in a unique and heartfelt manner. Based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, I am Donna Murray, the founder and lead photographer. With my trusty companion Iggy, a whippet who thinks he's human, and my loving partner Ben, we embark on a journey to photograph beautiful moments in Scotland and beyond.

My love for photography began when I was 14 years old, and I have not looked back since. I studied photography at North East College Scotland in Aberdeen and Napier University in Edinburgh, and I started my career as a press photographer. I then took a year out to travel and work as a photographer in the Rocky Mountains in Canada. Upon my return, I set up my own business, and 12 years later, I am still in love with what I do.

Apart from photography, I enjoy travelling and discovering new places. I have travelled from Nepal to Morocco and South America, but my heart always brings me back to Scotland. I plan big walks and climb Munro's when I can, but I also love local walks around the north-east. I recently rediscovered my love for live music, and I enjoy a rummage through vintage shops.

• Engagement Shoots: Engagement shoots are a great way to get to know us and feel comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. We offer engagement shoots at a location of your choice, and you will receive a set of digital images to treasure.
• Families and Portraits: We love photographing families and individuals in a relaxed and natural setting. Our sessions are fun and stress-free, and we capture the connection and love between you and your loved ones. We offer sessions at a location of your choice, and you will receive a set of digital images to treasure.
