Why I Love My Job

As a wedding photographer, I have the privilege of being part of some of the most significant days of people's lives. I love how a wedding day is a microcosm of human experience, filled with laughter, tears, joy, and excitement. Every couple is unique, and I find it fascinating to capture their personalities, stories, and love. It's an incredible feeling to be trusted to tell these stories through my photographs.

My Approach

I believe that the best photographs come from allowing couples to relax and be themselves. I won't ask you to pose, look at the camera, or say "cheese" at any point. My goal is to capture real moments, without being an influence on them. I achieve this by being unobtrusive and subtle, allowing you and your guests to enjoy your special day without any distractions.

I'm Russ, a documentary wedding photographer with over 300 weddings under my belt. I've been shooting weddings since 2009 and have honed my skills in capturing real, natural moments without interrupting the celebrations. I'm based in Somerset, UK, but I'm always happy to travel to destinations across the country to capture your special day.
