We are Andy & Sacha Stoyle, a full-time professional photography husband and wife team specialising in wedding and portrait photography in Cardiff, South Wales & the UK. Based in the historic town of Llantwit Major in the Vale of Glamorgan, our skill, creativity, and passion for photography are reflected in our images. We provide a boutique experience for our clients, documenting their most cherished memories. With a combined experience of over 20 years, we have been photographing weddings since 1999 and have had the privilege of capturing special moments in many beautiful locations around the world.

Growing up, I, Sacha, loved to take holiday photos to create albums for friends and family. This passion has only grown stronger over the years. When Andy and I started ALS photography, it was a dream come true to create those lasting reminders of happy times for our customers. Seeing their delight when they see their portrait or wedding images for the first time is so rewarding and one of the best parts of my job! My love of travel has taken me around the UK and the rest of the world, seeing fantastic sights, meeting people from countries far and wide. I truly believe that I have the best job in the world, working in partnership with my husband allows me to combine my creative flair with meeting new people and capturing special moments for memories that last a lifetime.

Andy's passion for photography began even earlier. He would save his pocket money to buy his first SLR camera and then head out to shoot everything he deemed worthy of a click. His love for surfing and travel has taken him to many amazing destinations, where he would document the different landscapes, nature, and cultures. As he honed his photography skills, he discovered a love for photographing people, making it the obvious and natural avenue to explore. This love for people and places led him to change his career path from the steel industry to photography, and A.L.S Photography was born!

Our approach to photography is centered around capturing those special moments in a relaxed, friendly, and unobtrusive manner. We use a reportage style, often using natural light, to document personalities and emotions. We are always looking to anticipate moments where we can use creative framing, composition, lighting, and other fine art techniques to create those unique images. With a natural love for the landscape, we also strive to use the natural surroundings to our visual advantage.
