Each of our bedrooms also boasts a glimpse of Exmoor, making it the perfect setting for your special day. Whether you're planning a winter wedding with the warmth of log fires, a spring or summer wedding with masses of outdoor space and a swimming pool, or an autumn wedding with the vibrant colours of the changing trees, we have everything you need to make your wedding dreams come true.

Our venue offers exclusive use of the main house, ballroom, and vast gardens and grounds, providing ample space for a marquee on the croquet lawn and even room for a bouncy castle to keep both children and adults entertained. Our elegant Victorian summer house is also available for civil ceremonies, set within beautiful gardens with the stunning backdrop of Dartmoor. You'll find our facilities perfect for capturing those first moments of married life on camera.

Our Services

At Beaford House, we offer a range of services to make your wedding planning as smooth as possible. We can suggest caterers or you may wish to cater yourselves, with options for a formal or informal wedding day. Our main house boasts a magnificent dining room seating up to 120 for a wedding breakfast and 250 for a finger buffet. A large hall and drawing room are perfect for intimate photos, and a library doubles beautifully as a Bridal Morning Room. We also have a very large kitchen with an Aga, laundry room, larder, and second prep kitchen. The additional ballroom can seat up to 160, ideal for your civil ceremony and dancing. There's an attached bar area and cloakrooms, ensuring everything you need is under one roof.
