About Us

My name is John, and I'm the owner and operator of New Forest DJ Services. My journey as a professional DJ began at a young age, when my parents took me to a local record shop to buy my first record, the Dave Clark Five's 'Bits and Pieces.' From there, I went on to provide music at house parties and eventually turned professional, cutting my teeth at local clubs and events. Today, I'm proud to have built a business based on recommendations and referrals, with a long list of satisfied clients who've hired me for their special occasions.

Music is at the heart of what we do. I'm an avid music collector and enthusiast, with a vast knowledge of genres and eras. In addition to our standard DJ services, we also offer a range of retro vinyl sound & light shows that take you back to the classic eras of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. With our Retro Vinyl Sound & Light shows, you'll be transported back in time to the likes of Soul, Motown, and Ska.
